Things that seemed important enough at the time

Wow, as of Friday it only takes 3 clicks from Apple's main page to hear (part of) one of my Soundtrack songs!

If you enjoy a scavenger hunt:
1. www.apple.com
2. click on the Panther image
3. click on the Pixlet image
4. click on the QT player image with a shuttle
5. listen
(assuming you have Panther, and QT 6.4, and a fast machine...)

Or if you're lazy, click here and click on the shuttle image (I don't want to bother figuring out how to embed the QT plugin to make this work).

UPDATE - of course, minutes after I post this, they seem to have taken the link down.
UPDATE 2 - well, the file is still there - you can pick through the html source if you want to find it (you have to do a "Open URL in New Player..." command from QT Player... putting the URL in a browser doesn't seem to work)

While rummaging through my laptop hard drive I found an old Soundtrack file that I never did anything with, so I spent five minutes and made it into a song. Feel free to check it out at http://homepage.mac.com/cflake -- and then click on the "Media Files" link at the top. As of today, these are the files you will see:

Classical Soundtrack - created using the string loops provided in the DVD that comes with Soundtrack
Destro - a file I put together 6 months ago that I just found (see above)
Vcsclip - I had nothing to do with this, but it's cool.
